Our annual Lunch and Learn is set for Saturday, April 26th



Don't miss the celebration as we kick off the start to the spring greenhouse season from 10:30-12:00, followed by a delicious salad luncheon! Reservations are required. Tickets are $50 and include a $25 gift certificate. Enjoy a demonstration-style program, tips on gardening, and an introduction to the best new plants in our spring line up. Six family-owned boutique greenhouses offer unique annuals, perennials, shrubs, succulents and tropicals -- you'll find what you need to brighten your containers and landscapes! It's time to celebrate Spring

Maypole Mania



It’s been a long time since we celebrated the start to May with a Maypole Dance but this is the year! We have a group of performers that will demonstrate at 2:00pm and again at 3:00. They will also offer instructions for anyone that wants to give it a try! Bring a friend – or your whole garden club. Those priceless photos will be worth the effort!



Make your Mother’s Day at the Prairie Pedlar!
One Day Only, Saturday – May 10th



After shopping in the greenhouses, celebrate Mother’s Day in a memorable way - take time to savor a yummy dessert ($5 per piece) and enjoy it with coffee/tea and conversation in the newly located Garden Folly. Sit a spell on the porch swing and admire the timeless décor – antique McCoy pottery, flower frogs and vintage furnishings. The garden room will be decked out for spring and guaranteed to charm your horticultural spirits and nourish your soul.



Prairie Pedlar’s Moonlight Birthday Bash Save the date of Sunday, August 3rd



if you’ve been wishing for a return of the Moonlight Garden Party at the Prairie Pedlar. In honor of our 40th year in business, we will host an enchanting garden experience under the stars as moonlight, candles, and thousands of white lights transform the garden into a magical retreat. The Garden opens at 7:30 PM. Guests are invited to browse among the flowers and sample a banquet of hors d’oeuvres while participating in some nostalgic birthday party games and contests. A program begins at twilight (approximately 9:00). Festivities will conclude with door prizes and comments from the Prairie Pedlar owners, Jack and Jane Hogue. The admission for the event is $15.00 per person. Reservations are required and the group size is limited.
